Today, this is a MMA-related star adoration subreddit. Instagram, Twitter, soap operas, hype-machines, shills, and homo/heteroerotic comments flood these boards while discussions of technique, strategy, non-UFC or WMMA events, and the integrity of the sport are typically both superficial and/or uncommon.

Perfect examples: 3 months ago Jordan Mein retiring barely received 100 UV. The next day Jack Slack posts his analysis of Mein's career and techniques, not even getting 50 UV. That same day Joanna playing with sock puppets received ~1000 UV.

Last year Fedor broke a long silence after his retirement in an anticipated interview with The Voice, and it didn't even break 200 UV. That same day 1 of hundreds of Ronda's interviews easily exceeded 300 UV, and her Pokemon profile DOMINATED with 1500+ UV.

We witnesses literally the least technical main event since Zuffa took over the UFC -- a fight so technically unrefined, no joke, I've seen far more technical AM fights locally -- yet that's all people can talk about. Who's talking about the insanely tactical Miller/Chiesa fight? No one.
