Nope. They never want to let go all the way. If I dumped you, I'm happy not to string you along with less than what you really wanted from me. If you dumped me then do the same consideration, don't me cruel.

I have literally given entire 'friend groups' away to nearly all my exes who were still trying to be sneaky and manipulative through other people. Sometimes those friends reach out now years later, like why did you stop calling/texting/coming over etc and I'm like well my phone never rang from you either ... if you just took exes side for gospel that my being dignified about a breakup meant less to you than their gossip, you really wasnt ever a friend anyway.
