Why are Modern Chinese Movies so Bad | Video Essay

I say they create more art house cinema using book adaptations alongside their CG blockbusters. I'm sure the stories are there, they're just being underutilized. I would guesstimate that 90% of American movies are book adaptations. I hope the future of Chinese moviegoers looks more like the tastes of South Korea's than America's.
