It's in 4/4. There's a polymeter happening on the hands - I think it's a triplet groove? right-right-left. He does something similar in Triad - which is another amazing drum performance.
You're the closest out of most people in this thread, but here's what's really happening:
The drum break is in threes, but not a polyrhythm, it's a polymeter. The whole thing is in sixteenth notes, never changes.
Sticking in the first part is LRR over and over, easy as to play.
At a certain point he switches to a swiss army triplet, or something closely based on it: LlRR, but we haven't changed from sixteenth notes so technically not a triplet
