You'll notice none of those are the study the article you sent me is debunking.
You seem like a nice person and god knows that trans people need compassion and support but this is real medicine with real consequences and it takes actual science to determine what will benefit people.
This reminds me a lot of the effort to take away the stigma of treating youth with antidepressants. No, they should not be stigmatized for needing drugs and it no doubt benefited some percentage of them. Did it result in a ton of kids being given drugs that later studies found were on average deeply harmful? Oh, hell yeah.
The lawsuits are already starting in the UK so my guess is this won't actually go on for that long once big payouts start but who knows.
