Obviously every individual is different, however, I’ve definitely had quite a few conversations with people (vaccinated and not) where they’ve essentially said they’ll be fine/deal with consequences and others should too. One conversation I used a personal experience of someone who was in the hospital (non-covid) and got horribly neglected because the system was swamped with covid cases. I used this example to highlight the impacts on health care as being the primary concern with covid/restrictions. The response I got was ‘and that is your experience, mines different’…. Okay you have a different experience because nobody you care about has been impacted, but me sharing how I’ve seen it impact others is just ‘my experience’ and that experience doesn’t matter? Ok….
