Bachmann: Jesus is ‘coming soon’

Every Evangelical Christian in the US thinks like this and particularly in the US. Not only is this dangerous in regards to US politics, it's dangerous to foreign policy and foreign relations. It's dangerous to the environment and it's dangerous to American's safety at home. I grew up in a devout, hard core, ultra religous conservative Christian house. I know more about this ideology and way of thinking, in detail, more than most people I guess. I know how they think, why they think it and have been part of some incredible and down right (looking back) kooky plans. I'd be happy to do a Q/A to folks who want to get into the mind of people like Michelle Bachmann and can explain in equisit detail what makes the radical right wing Christian think. This gist of it is this. They're wrapped up in a new style of Christianity that's not very old. They think Israel is a plan of God before the end of the ages and that by helping Israel, since Jews are there, it means a blessing on the USA. They literally are told and believe the US has a world economy the way it does because we help the Jews. They think that if you turn your back on Israel, God will punish you. However, when you boil it all down, they will say most Jews will be killed by the great war. I (personally) feel teh rampant anti-Islamic rhetoric that comes from them is a form of 'projection'. Because radical Islamic beliefs state that the end times are now and that Jesus will soon return and help fight the great battle. But some Muslims say it'll be in Dabiq Syria and Christians think it'll be in the Megiddo valley in Israel (Armageddon). Deep down I think they know their thought process is screwed up but are afraid to admit it. Look at the rampant pill popping culture and look what states are the worst and you'll see what demographic it's hitting.
