A bar near me found a hilarious loophole to get around noise complaints and keep hosting live music.

We used to be on a low approach path for like a month, but enough people complained because they had been living there before the lanes were changed. Thank fuck they listened, because for a while there, I'd be awakened at midnight and scared shitless because the whole house was rattling. I was young and kind of understood that jets make noise, but it was still unsettling and unnecessary.

Living next to an arsenal (not entirely my decision, just where my college was located) we often woke up to Blackhawks making their way back to base, or trains blaring their horns on their way to resupply the station. I got used to it very quickly.

Idk why people complain so much; yeah, it sucks, but that's life. Sometimes there's noise, toughen up and deal with it like the rest of us.
