Bayern's Dr. Müller-Wohlfart resigned after being blamed for loss vs Porto

No rational doctor would ever use homeopathy to strictly treat a patient. I've never once said that, so you keep trying to debunk the use of homeopathic medicine to me when I know exactly what it is and that its pseudoscience. But that doesn't mean there are parts of homeopathic and holistic medicine that aren't useful. That's why you have seen such a sharp rise in osteopathic medical doctors practicing in the medical field in the past decade. Preventative medical practices are making huge strides, the problem is these practices aren't profitable in the current medical system. You can argue it till your blue in the face, but until you've been in the hospital treating patients or are in medical school, you can Google it all you want.

To reiterate because you're clearly not getting it:

No doctor would ever treat a patient based on strict homeopathic remedies.

In our current system, by and large, we treat SYMPTOMS and not CAUSES. Ideally, that shouldn't be the case. But it is. Should the symptoms be treated with modern medicine? Of course. Does that mean the underlying causes shouldn't be investigated? Of course not. Are they? Rarely. You can argue this all you want, but it's common knowledge that there is a huge correlation between lifestyle changes and disease incidence. That seems like common sense right? That's alternative medicine in its simplest form. It isn't saying "drink this herbal mix and forego kidney dialysis".

You're reading too much into the practice of alternative medicine and how it can be incorporated into modern medicine. We live in an age where we are prescribed pills for everything. You go into the office with a cold-- doctors often don't want to say "it's just a cold I'm not going to prescribe anything". Instead, they prescribe antibiotics so the patient feels like they're getting better and not wasting their money. That makes no sense when a) you need to wait at least three days after symptoms to prescribe antibiotics in most cases and b) those colds are often viral, meaning antibiotics have no effect. All that does is contribute to bacterial mutations and therefore bacterial resistance (like MRSA), and it wipes out the patients healthy normal flora for no reason.

There are healthy aspects of alternative medicine that can be incorporated and are beginning to--- preventative medicine in its most basic form. The problem is-- preventative medicine isn't profitable. I've been there, I've seen it, you can google all you want but until you have actually practice medicine and see the results of preventative medicine and the research linking lifestyle and diet changes to decreased incidence of IBS, Alzheimer's, etc., then I don't think you have much of an argument. That isn't how our health model is set up though. It's a for-profit industry, unfortunately.
