Idk about your country but in my country having a degree or not, actually statistically makes a difference in level of education, chances for a better paid job and yes but only statistically in inteligence (because in my country everyone has the opportunity tu study so wether someone has a degree or not it purely depends on their own effort and capability)

You are right with the fact that it doenst make you a superior human being. But it makes you superior in areas where education is necessary. If you decide to let uneducated people actively feel that, then your an asshole ofc. You should stay humble.

But stating that people with a degrees arent superior when it comes to the exact thing they have their degree in, is completely nonsense. Practising electricians can have as much practical experience they want. They still wont have the university knowledge about how and why things work how they work. Thats it.
