'Being a man would help.'

Jesus you're attacking me tonight. For every counterpoint you've assumed that I am demonizing men which I have not at all.

And you assumed that I don't care about victims of rape, that I'm a neckbeard that don't know any other women, and that I belong to /r/iamverysmart.

The topic is rape assault against women by men, not 'women do that too!' Of course women can be mentally unstable at any time but that isn't what we're discussing here.

I'm not making it into us vs. them. I'm showing you how ridiculous is to say that any man can potentially rape you, when you can use the same argument to show that any woman can potentially rape you.

The topic, originally, was a woman that thought that being a men alleviates the danger. I don't think it does.

You've even turned my sexual assault into a point against me for your argument. This is actually pretty hurtful. I suppose you are more concerned with proving your point.

You were the one to use your victim of sexual assault stats as an argument towards me. Have I downplayed your experience, have I mocked it? And was I wrong in saying that there are situations in which being a woman will actually save you from violence?
