I don't see any of the above necessarily bad though. It seems like everywhere the US spreads it's influence we make more enemies and destabilize regions because of it. If we just stepped back and let the world do its own thing then maybe everything wouldn't be so messed up and divided. By trying to control everything we make the world worse for it.

As for fighting to keep democracy in America, I don't think it's worth keeping. At the very least the US should be two countries since we can't agree on anything but that would just spawn sub factious inside of the new countries. It would be better to have one unified authoritarian government to control everything. Your average citizen is too short sighted and impulsive to make good decisions that would benefit others in the long run.

I know that if America stepped back from it's current place as the world police, that people will die and countries will fall but in the end I think the world as a whole would be better off.
