The Beyond Burger has successfully captured the attention of meat eaters.

I just think I got ahold of the internet too early. My mom would let me hang out in her office after school (this was when dial-up was still a thing) and from there I somehow discovered Peta 2 and watched all these awful videos of animals having their throats slit and others being skinned alive while my mom was in meetings. I used my allowance to donate to Peta 2 and became a member by 10 if I remember correctly. They even sent me a little membership card. Haha. As I grew I learned the bad rap they have and while I agree with the message I no longer associate with the brand. I don't know how I managed to watch those videos though. I became really desensitized, however now I can't emotionally handle any of it.
