The Bible As It Is ~

Thank you for your input! Where did you read that, the title page?

This is the first draft and hopefully I will actually have a reason to edit it some day and make a second draft. I often feel like I fall into the habit of relying on so many all too common tropes in my style of writing. Especially with this body of work, revolving around parables which are repeated throughout the Gospels, I feel that I start copying my own words a little too much.

I take your comment to heart. Thank you.

In regards to the two examples you mentioned, I like them! Hah. The Bible is the Word of God, i.e. God's one Word translates into an entire body of scripture and all the traditions surrounding it. And when something is sanctioned by the Lord, I get excited. Of course, to tell if something has the sanction of the Lord requires time, a lot of time--time which I probably won't ever see.

Something like the Catholic Church, I think, is sanctioned by the Lord because it has withstood the test of time.
