Same story but four quarter horses here. All 4 went out the gate when my uncle drove in to drop bails. My uncle tore out of the field and down the road and got in front of them, but they just bolted back our way. My 2 cousins and I formed a human chain to redirect them off the road back in to the field. It was obvious they weren't stopping or changing direction, so we jumped into the ditch.

After hours of chasing them back and fourth down the road they just decided to head to the bard.

We followed my uncle into the barn and he was going crazy. He actually stabbed a horse in the hind quarter with the shit-fork. Then he kicked my cousins asses for moving out of they way...fuck was I scared that day.
