It is not possible to argue against it making the carbon footprint exponentially worse - because it ultimately maintains a succession of humans who are contributing with their own carbon footprint, while the footprint of a childless couple ends with them. This wasnt a view on overall world population. This is net carbon footprint contribution - which cannot be refuted.

And I should also highlight that I am absolutely not FOR sterilisation either - this was just a commentary on the fact that people are quick to try and force others to jump on the bandwagon they're already on - but would never be so quick to try and dictate to others something that they dont like the sound of - even if the ultimate cause they try to use as justification would be more greatly benefited.
