And I called them insufficient because they make no more sense differentiating 18s from 22s than they do 14s from 18s. I certainly don't buy that "spatial awareness" and "problem-solving" skills are operative.

It's more like if we can extend that 14 can be considered not so bad, we are that much closer to 12, and have gotten past the silly [deferring to the "age of majority"] point.

I did not argue for that as relates to implementation or law or government. I was just saying that my moral intuition on this subject is highly contextual. We can agree that the best way to implement it is with brightlines, but if I then point to specific illegal cases and say "this doesn't bother me" I (or Bill) should not be considered a monster.
