For comparison I'll cite Wonder Woman, which I liked, initially. I told a friend as much and he thought it awful. And you know, once I thought about it, well the last twenty minutes were idiotic. As to racism, my opinion is that to some extent we all harbor some racist generalizations, and it's more dangerous to deny them, then it is to accept such biases to the point where we can look at them and perhaps identify the root issues. I mean it's okay for a major magazine to say this? It's a bit of a double think to generalize good qualities and overlook how that implies negatives about others.

So yeah, maybe it's a bad movie. I mean all these multinationals are trying to sell a marketing based feel good product, which is somehow creepy.
