BMPCC 6K might look nice but there are several drawbacks using it. For one, each battery lasts about a half hour. Also in-body image stabilization, so this means it will basically live on a tripod or gimbal for any non-stabilized lenses (this doesn’t bother most pros). You’re also limited to a small micro 4/3 sensor that is a notorious size for having noisy footage in low-light.
Highly recommend looking up your mirrorless options first, because they not only compete but will even outperform the BMPCC 6K. The new and highly anticipated full-frame Sony A7IV, successor to the legendary A7III is a prime example of a more versatile option if you are looking for things like autofocus, IBIS, weather dealing, and ridiculous video quality (full full-sensor readout with oversampled 4K, no line skipping or pixel binning), and epic low light performance in addition to a pro level still shooter. Otherwise you could go the Panasonic route like most do and pick up a S5 or S1H which are both video workhorses with extremely video specific features like Anamorphic. Battery life on these guys is going to be much better as well.
