I don't have any problems with the bible if it's viewed and accepted only as a literary form of art. I do have a problem against it's people though... when it is taken literally as if it's a recipe for God or a Law//Word of God that one should obey unconditionally. Not only that, I've experienced religious bigotry and passive aggressive sodomizers from many walks of life. Trying to impose their beliefs on me and telling me to fear their god and surrender to the will of the body on the cross. Got me feeling like the devil in the book of Jude. The first time I picked up a bible was 20+ years ago and the first book I read was 'Revelations'. The only book in the OT I'd take with me is Proverbs. The book of Mark is my preferred gospel and Revelations is mine to judge, to living and nonliving. I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit and this time She ain't fucking around.
