Summary he oeiginally Calls 911 because people threaten him after Brandons disabled truck almost causes an accident. He ask for cops to deal with his disabled truck and the people making threats. He is not injured when he calls 911 nor is anyone else because the cars didnt hit anything they just went into brush. As Brandon is on the phone with 911 one of the people that almost hit his truck approach him and take his phone ending the 911 call and toss the phone into the brush. After the call ends there is a fight which injures Brandon.

He is left in the brush assumed to be dead or dying and the people in the fight with him speed off in their cars. Brandon finds where they tossed his phone. He hides and tries to get a signal to call 911. He realizes he has a spot with reception because his phone rings when audrey calls. He picks it up and tries to tell audrey his brothers gf whats going on. Reception is bad and she cant understand him. He looses the call and succumbs to his injuries before he can get help.
