Your article from that most respected source of Journalism, travelandleisure.com has no source for the claim of 500 Million.

It does cite a Telegraph article about something else to do with the Royals. But of course you will get an objective view from The Telegraph about the Royal family.

In any event. Even a one off half a billion means nothing. You do realise that the Royal Family has a huge team of PR agents pushing to get positive stories in to the news right? And that those who do not tow the line are punished by having access removed.
