I had a poor impression of her statement as well. I believe her 100%, I believe she spoke the truth of her conditions and I believe she was very brave to come forward. But that doesn’t negate the poor impression I had of her statement, objectively speaking. I think the fault of this is with her lawyer. It is his job to represent her interests and he did not help her do that in the best possible way. He clearly gave her free reign and it will work against her. Unfortunately, he’s just another person who fooled her by getting close to her personally (per her statement) and who makes her feel like he’s on her side when he isn’t. If he was he would have had the motion to remove conservatorship ready at the hearing, and he would have made 100% sure Brittany was putting her best foot forward.

Instead, he gave her enough rope… as they say.

She’s clearly being abused, she’s clearly being taken advantage of and being threatened. What is being done to her is wrong. But her statement, though honest, was not strong.
