95% of all plastic in the ocean FROM rivers is from those 10.

"Their paper, published in the journal Environmental Science and Technology, calculates that rivers contribute between 410,000 and 4 million tonnes a year to oceanic plastic debris, with 88 to 95% coming from only 10."

To say that 95% of plastic in the ocean is from those 10 rivers would be incorrect.

Also, the study states that the yearly plastic output from these rivers is anywhere from 0.4 to 4 million tons of waste per year, which is a huge range. Global plastic output into oceans via all sources is estimated at 5 to 13 million tons per year
