Canada is currently a bit mixed up:

- Ask me the temperature, and I'll give you Celsius

But then again ask us what temp to preheat our ovens to for baking something and it will be in Fahrenheit, ask us to fetch a 2x4 we know what it is, ask to borrow a 1/2 inch 15mm socket we will grab it from the tool box.

We are metric efficient/sided especially those who are brought up post 1980 like the rest of the world outside America(Myanmar and Liberia are the only two other countries that use imperial in full) but consumer wise geographically(some ovens and cars we buy were either made or designed in the USA) we use imperial interchangeably to a degree and the older generation clinging onto pre 1971 measurement change is also a factor, we can be imperial proficient when we need to based on a lot of Canadian only circumstances.
