Perhaps you should've joined the game sooner? To be a bad guy for a few minutes here... If you're bitching about the requirement for dungeons being tied to the MSQ and having to wait 'up to several hours' to get into a dungeon that you need, then surely you're someone who just recently bought the game. Imagine how those of us felt when we had to wait for almost a YEAR to be able to play the game again (after it was taken offline at the end of 1.0).. From November of 2012 through August of 2013, players had to sit on their hands and wait. And do nothing.

At least you can attempt to use the Party Finder to get a group to take you through the dungeon while you wait for up to a measly couple of hours. Or ask your Free Company to help. Or ask people in a Linkshell to help. You're not confined to JUST relying on 3 (or 7, depending on your dungeon) other people to be paired with you via the Duty Finder. You can attempt to socialize and ask a favor of your new friends. We had to sit around with our thumb up our butts and hope that SE wouldn't cancel the game before we got to play it again. I'm not too sorry that you have to wait a meager few hours to get into a dungeon when I had to wait for 273 days to even be able to log in. It must suck coming from your perspective that you have to "waste" time by waiting for the duty finder. Did you know that you can fill that wasted time by doing other things? Select a different class and go solo some fates, go do a leve or 10. Go craft some items, go mining and gather materials.

Welcome to Final Fantasy 14. You've got a lot of tears and QQ to go if you want to earn your stripes with the jaded veterans. Imagine how long it would take you to get to the end-game of other MMOs who have more than 1 expansion out, assuming you didn't Pay-to-win your way there.
