Can White SJW's Please Stop Tokening Indigenous People at UBC?

It seems like you're coming at this discussion from a place where you've already concluded that Indigenous people are doing something wrong. If so, this discussion won't change your mind because every piece of evidence that gets presented only reinforces the belief that they ought to let bygones be bygones and move on. But the problem with that is that this is a flawed assumption; the unfortunate truth is that the colonial legacy of the harms done to Indigenous groups continues to this day.

So it won't help to say that money has been paid in compensation and a formal apology has been made, when in other areas of society those impacts continue to be felt, and indeed, perpetuated.
