are grades even worth it this semester

My master plan:

  1. Don't try. But also don't cheat (it's not worth it when you're almost done the degree anyways).
  2. Get less good grades.
  3. Say that those less good grades prove you're honest.
  4. Win win.

Lol but that being said, even though it's harder to get top grades, it seems easier to get 'somewhat good' grades. No idea why though, maybe it's the amount of things being marked for completion. Averages go up but distribution of grades becomes more narrow I think (cause of the 65-75% course average policy).

As someone who will be aiming for grad school on a job benefit rather than a scholarship, I've decided to just shift priorities to spend more time with extra curriculars instead of studying. It's more enjoyable, my grades from past years are good enough to look good, and this year is different anyways. As long as I can make it clear that my grades went down because of the changes to assessment and not stress/anxiety, it shouldn't matter to an employer.

That's just what I intend to do though, your situation might be different. Hope it helps!
