These behaviors are of a self-unaware, I evolved Cancerian. A self aware Cancerian knows their emotions as separate than their moral conduct and can imagine others have feelings as well, ones the Cancerian is oblivious to.

Having been very different in my youth, I personally have dropped this trait and do the opposite now. I understand ‘apology’ in a much different way also.

I think certain Cancerians can apologize better than most other signs, because their EGO is not as fragile as their feelings. Ownership is key. Understanding emotions are a subjective experience is key. Aquarians taught me a lot about that, but also other air & Fire signs have taught me the most about keeping emotions out of the cockpit.

I say this also having experienced the extreme ‘stubborn emotions’ of unaware Cancerians. (I know a few, and yick!) But I don’t expect an apology from those types. They are damaged and to the extent I perceive it, I adjust my expectations.

The evolved cancerian may adopt the responsible, maternal attitude of a nurturing and caring mother; whereas the unevolved form reaches for their mother in others... whining, grasping, needing but not giving.
