What ever happened to "Canine Commons"? (Indoor dog park project)

Back in 2019 there was buzz of a large indoor dog park opening in Austin. I was excited to have an indoor option for my dogs, especially with the threat of toxic algae heavily limiting the number of places where I frequently brought my dogs, one of which is an avid swimmer.

The Canine Commons Instagram account was offering discounted memberships, and I bought one for my pups. In the meantime, my wife gave birth to our son, then covid hit alongside a lot of other things going on in the world and I just kind of forgot about it.

As the rain rolled in for the next few days, it got me thinking about this indoor park again. I tried to locate current information and came up dry. I scoured my old emails and learned that Canine Commons had renamed itself as Wünderhund.

I can't seem to find anything about the business anymore besides a vague "2022" opening date on their site (originally scheduled for spring 2020) and the Google listing for the Allen, TX location that is permanently closed.

Did anyone else sign up for this that might have any other insight? I can't seem to find an Instagram account for them anymore that details additional updates. Starting to wonder if I got fleeced on a business that will never actually exist in Austin.
