I did not know about Dave Paladino until I came across his company at work (Auto Insurance claims) with having to tow out one of his tenant's vehicle out of a private lot that he owns. His tenant was in an accident (not his fault) and as a way to mitigate his damages and not get storage charges from the impound lot, he stored it in his parking lot until the claim was settled. Paladino then went ahead and towed vehicle, had it sitting in his very own Paladino tow yard. They refused to provide me--and his tenant's attorney--the address of the tow yard, in addition to delaying storage so that they could collect more on it. Long story short, the guy is evil.
