Same here, but in quickplay. I’ve played nearly every day for the past two years with my SO. I’ve seen my share of ups and downs, but ever since summer games started every single one of my QP matches have been one sided stomps.

The game is getting seriously un-fun for me simply because I’m not getting a chance to play it. We aren’t moving the payload, we aren’t able to mount any sort of defense. It’s not my team. They are mostly making a good effort and sometimes even switching when appropriate. The red team is simply far, far better. We never had a chance. Not seeing any progress toward that Reaper skin after putting in so much time and effort really sucks. Getting crushed in every match sucks. Having little to no impact in the game sucks. (I’m talking gold elimination is 1 kind of no impact.)

I’m getting desperate. I don’t understand how quickplay MMR or SR works - if I intentionally start throwing QP games (like suiciding, not firing my gun, only dancing and spamming voice lines) will the game start giving me balanced matches? Is losing with gold medals my problem? I don’t play comp or care about SR - is comp where I need to throw?

If throwing isn’t the solution how can I get another account for PC? Do I have to buy the game again? As much as I don’t want to lose all my skins I’ll trade them for fun and fair matches.
