The U.S. created ISIS when they choose al Baghdadi and the CIA and Mossad trained him through most of 2004. They released him to go set up a militia - and so he did. Since then, the U.S. continues to fund, via backchannels, and prop them up - so that they will appear to be a formidable enemy. If we do that, then we have a reason to go to war!!

Why is that significant? The U.S. spends between $500-750 BILLION dollars each year on defense. That is more than every other country on this planet, combined!

There are entire sectors of the world economy that revolve around all that is needed for war. For example (but not limited to):

• Weapons (small arms, to RPG's, to rockets)
  
• Ammunition - a never-ending supply
• Equipment (uniforms, flak jackets, helmets, night-vision)
  
• Vehicles (hummers, APC, supply trucks, tanks, planes, ships)
  
• Fuel - a never-ending supply
• Food (Meals-Ready to-Eat - a constant supply)
  
• Water (they are in a desert, so a constant supply of trucks bringing potable water)
  

Then, if you consider that all of the people who SELL all of that stuff, above - also own all of the media outlets (tv, cable, magazines, books, movie studios, game studios, etc) - it would only make good business sense if they painted a picture for you, the voting public, on why you should fear/hate ISIS.

If you follow what they tell you, then they can spend all the money they want without people getting upset. Don't forget, that money came from the taxes that you pay.

As a bonus, the U.S. would ultimate like to dominate China and Russia - to fulfill the New World Order which has been talked about publicly for 30+ years. If we attack Syria for example, Iran has a mutual-defense pact in place, so they will get involved. So then if we attack Iran, they have a mutual-defense pact in place with Russian - which will get them involved. So - if we're lucky, we could get a multi-decade world war going and profits would be through the roof!

If not, simply having a country-less, nebulous, "boogeyman" enemy to fight perpetually - will do. It's enough to justify maintaining defense spending and all of the companies making billions of dollars a year can continue doing that.

So either with Iraq/Iran/whatever - or if it's a full-blown world war, the defense industry and the politicians they paid for, win!

So - when you ask: "Why do we care what happens in Iraq?" - you are being told to care, because that props up and furthers a multiple-billion dollar "military industrial complex". It's no accident that you are this ignorant either - there is a lot of effort and expense that goes into making the typical American ignorant to the world in which he/she lives.
