The ticket they gave me last year had an out of date template from 2018, which directed any hearings to the police department rather than an actual courthouse (which I think was Garfield Heights).

There was a law passed in the last couple years that required hearings be done at the courthouse, but Newburgh Heights PD neglected to update their tickets while they (or the city) had been challenging said law in court calling it unconstitutional. I decided to do the hearing zoom call anyway and tell them this rather than ignoring. The officer was caught off guard, got pissed and revoked his offer for a lower fine and pressured me to pay or face further fines.
