The woke stance towards race requires absurd levels of double-think.

To be clear, the 19th-century concept of "three human races, caucasoid/negroid/mongoloid" is empirically wrong, because human genetics isn't neatly divided into 3 discrete parts. Racial genetics vary continuously with geography, so "race" as defined that way does not exist.

But "race" in the contemporary sense of "genetic variation among human populations, correlated with peoples' ancestral land of origin" is absolutely real. If it were not real, then racial categories like "black" and "white" could not exist. Differences in skin colour that you see "right in front of you" are the literal manifestations of race.
