China makes arrests, shuts down rogue chemical factories that spewed banned ozone-depleting gas

Ok I was mistaken about the percentage. I never said anything about the Chinese government owning anything. However, that doesn't mean that a Chinese company or investment firm wouldn't be involved in propaganda, they would benefit from it too.

Even if China/Chinese company didn't have an actual stake in Reddit, that wouldn't keep them from spreading propaganda here. A lot of people around the world use Reddit, that alone makes it a great vehicle for propaganda.

I don't believe a country that has concentration camps and a 1984-esque social point system and monitoring is a great place. The US isn't perfect, but it sure isn't on that level. I know my family won't disappear if we protest against the government.
