It’s a report from western intelligence officials. It does not say did hearsay or anything like that. It appears to be solid evidence of such a discussion. It is not just the US but per the report, many western intelligence officials stated it was legit evidence.

It appears the evidence that the US is obtaining is coming intercepted communication. That seems like very solid evidence to me or any reasonable person who doesn’t believe the CCP cannot make mistakes.

think it's important not to get carried away by thinking from the assumption that 'china is untrustworthy' and work out a conclusion from there, but to think of whether china is 'near term rational' or 'long term rational' and decide from there.

And there is strong evidence china made the request. You ignore it because you believe China would not be that horrible. The same China that the other individual stated had signed a large gas deal and a friendship pact against the west.

If China went as far as signing a friendship pact that is an anti-west pact, what makes it impossible for you to believe that they would have inside knowledge of Russias invasion?
