Is choosing to believe in God/Jesus salvation by works?

yikes, that all sounds a bit icky to me.

But based on what I've read and sources I trust, I don't believe Paul was giving divine inspiration at all, in a sense he leans more towards being a false prophet although that may not be the proper term, but Jesus peace be upon him had come to fulfill the law, which he did. Whether people of different faith differ that he died on the cross or not, it doesn't change the fact Jesus did fulfill the law. Paul is just some random man claiming inspiration changing Jesus pbuh teachings, many of the disciples and Christians themselves have issues with Paul.

But yeah in general it's good to have both works and the faith.

I've not seen a single verse of the Bible that makes it clear Jesus pbuh was a jew, but he was known as the man from Nazareth.
