This reminds me the, “Spokane police” aka spokompton pd. The head chief and department as a whole is known to be corrupt. Don’t even live there, or in state, but One personal experience I had was with a man who ran against him for chief of police. I didn’t know him at the time but he came through my business. In our casual conversation he began talking about every time he goes into the city of Spokane he is 100% stopped without fail, and told me of all the harassment that ensues these stoppings. But that is not where this story stops. At the end of our conversation he says, “yeah if anything suspicious ever happens to me like a car crash or something, it was him” (referring to the current chief and department). Well, a month or two goes by and a lady comes in and as usual, I make conversation with the customer and she end up telling me she’s the wife of the man. So I ask how he’s doing, she says “you didn’t hear?” “He died, his car went over a bridge.” My mind immediately starts thinking back to out last conversation and I end up telling her what her now deceased husband told me.
