Ugh, no it's not? These people should be setting the example for the entire country. Yet we've seen Fauci, Pelosi etc all being photographed on numerous occasions without a mask or following other COVID protocols.

Again, this goes back to the "for how long?" argument. First it was flatten the curve, then it's 2 more weeks...fast forward a year and really nothing has changed.

People should be taking as many steps they can to stay safe. Washing hands, social distancing, using high quality masks etc. But basically staying inside and forgoing human experiences isn't healthy at all. This isolation can cause anxiety, depression, anger etc which can lead to much bigger issues.

It's a bit like that saying - what's the safest way to go skiing? Don't ski!

No, it has been deboonkered many times. Something like a N95 mask will 100% help protect against COVID. Your mum's bandana tied around your mouth isn't proven to be anything more than symbolic.
