CIRS / mold illness

Suffer with CIRS-WDB myself - binders are great (I'm on G.I. Detox® +) , but if it turns out that you have mycotoxins (Great Plains Laboratories have an incredible panel for confirming this) and your system can tolerate CSM (best) or Welchol (second best), that's the best step for beginning to clean your system out.

Seeing as you've seemingly had this for a long time, there's a very good chance that your MSH has depleted to the point that a weird genus of staph bacteria called MARCoNS (that healthy bodies usually destroy upon impact, but of course, we're no longer so lucky) has taken refuge deep in your sinus cavity. Microbiology DX is the best lab to test that through as their facilities are very ahead of the competition - their panel can differentiate between the presence of weak biofilm and no biofilm. The nasal swab hurts like hell (it has to be inserted four inches deep!) and you'll need to keep distant from dogs while you treat the MARCoNS (canines can be carriers and it's easy to reinoculate), but after you've been binding for 30 days, you either treat with BEG Spray (tried and true, but some people experience side effects) or have a compounding pharmacy make you a mix of EDTA and Argentyne 23.

After that, there's a lot of panels for esoteric biomarkers (complement C4A, TSH1β1, MMP9, etc.) as CIRS wreaks havoc on all sorts of your system and many people with it develop comorbidities such as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Bartonella, Lymphedema (I'm full of lumps that don't show up on imaging and getting an appointment with a dermatologist throughout COVID-19 has been impossible), and even things like cancer and organ failure. The prognosis is good if you have a good doctor - which it sounds like you do. I'm in Canada where CIRS isn't recognized and I've essentially had to become my own doctor, which is frustrating, but that's part and parcel with this illness which is alienating like few others.

If you're looking to talk to someone about this, I'm more or less where you are on your journey, so don't hesitate to reach out.
