Club Spending on Player Wages: LFC vs. Top 6

Honestly it's not something great. You don't want to have wages at the level of United's but you definitely don't want to be on the other end either. Spurs have been underpaying some of their stars and in this day and era where players have that much pull you have to keep them happy. It also makes it tougher for them to sign new players and add quality to the team, because you can't sign someone for £50m and pay them 100k a week but you can't pay them the same as your stars either without risking upsetting the dressing room. Their wage bill is a tier below in terms of compromise and they know that and are raising it, they're doing it well though, that's for sure.
