My issue isn't that they aren't speaking about specific policy, it's that the policies they're mentioning have nothing to do with the mass murder. Instead of promoting gun control reform that's relevant to the shooting, they're calling for laws that wouldn't have affected it whatsoever. So if they created this false flag to call for specific reform, they would have manufactured it in a way that made that specific reform common sense as it would have prevented the shooting. See what I'm saying?

Also, either way, destroying all or even most illegal guns is pretty much impossible and it would likely require unconstitutional search and seizure.

I understand what you're saying and in some ways this is unfalsifiable, so we could go further and further down the line playing a game of logic and logistical probability until the sun goes down, without a firm answer. I'm not sure that would be productive. I am curious, however, what proof there may be of this being concocted as a statement on gun control.
