Could RT Docs be on the level of Vice? Yes.

While Vice started as a magazine covering music, drug culture, and trendy shit that wasn't commonly covered in print, they have grown into something much bigger. Vice is an entertainment company, that started as a journo company and successfully morphed thanks to their niche audience. I would argue that Roosterteeth/The Know (News arm of the company needs to be included here) has appealed to their own niche audience and cover topics that their audience is interested in, similar way to that of Vice. Except, Roosterteeth is an entertainment company that has a journo/Doc branch.

Each one (Vice and RT) invest heavily and are known for their first label, but are taking steps to gain a new label and add new members to their audiences. Think Viceland = TheKnow/Docs. Compare the quality and response to the RT Docs to that of Viceland (mainly Desus & Mero, they are the freaking best thing on Viceland).

While don't I think RT would invest heavily enough in Docs and News Reports to compete with Vice. The idea that RT may be able to consistently put out Vice quality Documentaries is not ridiculous. They are still getting their feet wet.
