Well let me give you my impression of the last two hours gameplay.

But first. I bought it during the sale. I have been on the fence about getting this game but I really want to get into it and I know there's a learning curve involved. I spent a few hours over the weekend in the training, and didn't feel I learned much, so today (during work, ofc) I watched a few videos and tried to get more familiar with some of the basics of the game.

Still feeling a bit clueless, but in "what the hell" mode, I cracked a beer and loaded the game. I made my way from my initial system to the next one, and managed to dock through that fancy blue thingy to the inside landing area. Cool stuff. I checked out the commodity market but having 1k and no clue I just kinda looked around and left.

I made my way to the next system, and just kind of wandered around a bit. At one point I was interdicted, but escaped! Cool! I still had no idea what I was doing though.. I ran into a pretty formidable pirate out somewhere and almost got him down until 4-5 other ships showed up. No idea if they were npc or players, I didnt really know how to look and tbh, I was too happy seeing I made 12k from it anyway.

I make my way to the station that has the bounty. It's teaming with players, and it apparently only has two docks. I try a couple times and get a docking authorization, but it ends up being a lot harder than going through the little blue thing...

So now people are getting mad, because apparently I'm backing up their progress, but I'm just trying to make the stupid thing turn blue! A couple people point out my stupidity, so fine.. I get mad and leave. I kind of made a stink too, but I know being a dick back isn't really a solution.

I look around on the galaxy map, and choose a system that I can explore? Sure.. that sounds ok. I drop out of jump, scan the star, and start looking around. within 2 minutes, I'm interdicted by a player and killed.

Meh.. not really my idea of fun I guess.
