I have to say though, even if it's said that LBGT is not illegal by law the people will prosecute you for it. Indonesians in general are conservative about sex, even if you're a straight couple they will get you if you did pre-marital sex, there are videos of people literally breaking into someone's home to catch them having premarital sex, after that usually they're shamed by being walked naked or stripped naked in front of the mob, and that's straight couple, homosexuals have it even worse because of our prejudice against homosexuals. So yes, even though it's not illegal by law in reality it's anything but legal.

Keep in mind though this mob justice type thing usually only happened in the less developed or religious areas.

Can't speak much for the transgender part, the consensus around my area is that they're weird or they don't appreciate what God gave them
