There is this thing called "March for Science", and, on Reddit at least, it appears to be in quite a bit of turmoil. There are a lot of layers here, but the gist of it is that some individuals seem concerned that the movement is being co-opted, or at concerned about certain issues being broadened to include culture war-y topics that could inhibit the March's success. The controversy started over this tweet:

There was a very active thread yesterday where this issue is discussed. Other threads have been created on the issue, ranging from ranging from concerns about concern trolling and effort that has been put into diluting the relative prominence of the Diversity statement on the website.
