Yeah man I would never curse or cause harm upon anyone unless I truly felt there was no other solution. for acts of violence are foolish unless justified. Many every day problems can be solved normally with no magickal input what so ever, only when you feel you truly need to defend yourself/take such a extreme measure should you do so.

Kind of like a gun, You only pull it out and use it to defend yourself when the intruder comes barging in your home hoping to kill you or your family, Other wise the gun should stay put away safely until the time for it to be used comes a knocking. I just thought it was a great thing to get some magicians/witches opinions on, for magick is a raw power and can be used for good and or evil, but I wanted clarification on to rather or not if I truly felt I had to use it, if i'd be punished for doing so.

I'd much rather kick said someones ass, or destroy their reputation/other things in their life with other tactics before I whip'd out the black magick books of curses and hexes and etc and caused serious harm to said persons psyche/life. Im really into knowing thyself and helping others rather then breaking their souls. Only when a person steps to me with the intent of hurting me or a loved one do they get the claws. I don't fight/start a war unless I need too.

I feel one shouldn't engage in combat unless provoked to do so and one has no other choice for i feel curses are foolish to mess with unless it's REALLY needed..I just didn't know if you'd be screwed by the universe for casting such a thing. I think we're all one and hurting another person is in return continuing the chain of hate/pain but what you can seriously do when you have no choice but to take action, for it's not a matter of ethics, it's a matter of being in danger and defending yourself.

I feel a lot of people hide occult knowledge in fluff ideas like curses are bad, being a reasonable person I realize magick is a raw power and it's up to the magician what he ultimately decides to do with his powers/abilities, just think it'd be dumb to cast a curse on someone in defense and then in return the universe punish you badly. I just seek'd all around info on this subject..didn't feel like going down the rabbit hole too deep of curses and shit, was looking for basic and good answer's which many of you, including yourself have given me, and for that I thank you.
