No doubt if people would vote then cannabis would be legal.

22 countries have mandatory voting, the US needs it. Compulsory voting would ensure that all citizens participate in the democratic elections of these governing representatives.

None of my friends seem to care. Bernie lost and everyone was like fuck it.

Voting is like any other civil responsibility -- taxation, compulsory education, obeying laws that improve safety and society... Mandatory voting would lead to a higher turnout and increased political legitimacy.

We would get more of what we wanted if more people voted. Cannabis would be legal if we voted. Blame Schumer ad nauseam; but only about a third of NY citizens even bothered to vote for him.
