You can kill a plant. You can kill a cell. You can kill tons of things that haven't been born.

Fetus or zygote, it isn't a child until birth.

It is a child, just an underdeveloped one. The idea that the "thing" goes from being a fetus to a child by passing through a vagina is ridiculous.
